Zaabai connects partner vendors with travellers looking for something different and memorable, while providing local businesses with easy-to-use tools to list services, manage bookings, and grow.

What's the unique selling point of Zaabai.com? What is it's mission?

Zaabai.com’s unique selling point is that it is a Thai-owned destination platform focused on authentic local experiences across Thailand’s regions, sub-districts, and communities — not just the usual tourist attractions. Our mission is to help local experience providers, guides, and tourism businesses showcase the unique culture, hospitality, and hidden gems of their areas to both domestic and international travellers. This can include experiences such as learning family cooking recipes in a local home, team-building in rice paddy fields, village-based craft workshops, fishing village visits, wellness retreats, and other community-led activities that reflect the true spirit of each region. At the same time, Zaabai gives travellers an easy way to discover and book something more meaningful, memorable, and distinctly Thai.

How will Zaabai.com grow traffic to the marketplace?

Zaabai.com will grow traffic through viral publicity, storytelling, content marketing, and digital promotion. We will share the stories of our supplier-partners — who they are, why they do what they do, and the pride they take in sharing the hidden gems, culture, and hospitality of their communities. We believe the best travel experiences create meaningful human connections, not just transactions, and these are the kinds of stories people naturally want to share with friends and family.

We will also focus strongly on video-led storytelling, supported by articles from travel writers, features by media and influencers, and digital marketing across social media and search channels to attract both local and international travellers.

What is the likelihood of getting conversions on Zaabai.com versus placing Google, Tik Tok, or Facebook Ads?

Paid ads on Google, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram can create awareness, but they often operate in a crowded environment with heavy competition for attention, which can make conversions less predictable and more costly. Zaabai.com’s longer-term advantage is the trust it aims to build with travellers through authentic local experiences, credible supplier profiles, reviews, testimonials, and positive publicity. That trust can help generate not only new bookings, but also repeat business and stronger word-of-mouth — giving vendors a more sustainable path to conversions over time.

Why is Zaabai also focusing on the domestic market? How will you promote to the domestic market?

Zaabai.com is also focusing on the domestic market because domestic tourism is large and active throughout the year. It can help create more booking opportunities for local experience providers during weekends, long weekends, festivals, and family getaways, making it an important and more stable base for tourism businesses.

In terms of promotion, Zaabai will reach Thai audiences through Thai-language content, short-form video, influencers, and storytelling that reflects what many Thai travellers enjoy, such as relaxation, family trips, food discovery, beautiful places, and memorable photo spots.

We can also run engaging campaigns such as family-trip photo or video contests, local food trail challenges, and scenic photo-sharing campaigns, with prizes like travel credits, hotel stays, activity tickets, or restaurant vouchers. Registration

Where and how do I register to partner with Zaabai?

Zaabai welcomes tourism-related vendors, suppliers, and service providers to join our platform for free. However, for consumer protection and legal compliance, we work with businesses that are properly registered in Thailand, typically with the Department of Business Development (DBD), Ministry of Commerce. This may include sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited companies. To find out how to register your business, please visit the official DBD website www.dbd.go.th.

Once your business is properly registered with DBD, you can sign up via our Business Login page by clicking “Register your business” to “Create your business account”. The setup process includes completing your business profile, creating your own Stripe payment account (so payments can be processed securely and paid directly to you), and then preparing your listing of service offerings.

Do I have to pay to sign up as a Vendor

No, not at all. Signing up is free for all businesses. Just submit some basic information and click Register. You will then receive an activation email to commence the registration process.

What information is required for registration as a Vendor?

There are only a few steps parts in the business registration process. 1) Fill in your basic personal details as the registrant. 2) Complete your business registration details and then submit for verification. Upon successful verification you will receive an email to proceed to the next steps. 3) Set up your Stripe account. Follow the step by step instructions to complete and submit. When completed successfully, you can access your Vendor dashboard by logging in to your Business/Vendor Account.

Why do I need to have an DBD business registration to join Zaabai?

Having a DBD business registration ensures that your business is legally recognized and compliant with local regulations. This requirement helps us maintain a high standard of trust and credibility within the marketplace, providing our customers with the assurance that all listed businesses are legitimate. It also helps protect both partner-vendors and consumers by ensuring compliance with Thai legal requirements (including the necessary licences) to do business.

I am an individual. . What do I need to do to get DBD credentials?

If you are working as an independent contractor, have your own home business or you are a freelancer, you can register as a Sole Proprietor with DBD. This is a simple and straightforward process that gives you legal recognition as an individual conducting business. If you are working as part of a small group of people, you can consider registering as a Partnership. Please see more details at www.dbd.go.th

Payment and Pricing

Why did Zaabai choose Stripe over other payment processors?

We chose Stripe as our payment processor due to its strong reputation for security, reliability, and ease of integration. Stripe offers global reach, which aligns with our vision of expanding the pltform reach beyond local borders. Additionally, Stripe supports multiple payment methods, including QR Code/PromptPay, and various currencies, making it easy for vendors and customers alike to conduct business smoothly. Its transparent fee structure and robust support make it the ideal long term choice for our platform, our partners, and customers.

By integrating Stripe’s secure, PCI DSS-compliant gateway, we guarantee that all payment data is handled with the highest level of security, giving both our customers and our local business partners ultimate peace of mind.

Do I have to pay any joining or listing fees to Zaabai?

No, there are no joining or listing fees to join Zaabai.com’s platform. Zaabai works solely on a commission basis based on sales generated when consumers/travellers book and purchase your offerings. 

How much Commission does Zaabai take?

To support the local Thai tourism industry and related suppliers  earn more and grow, Zaabai’s commission will be lower than the foreign owned platforms. Details of the commissions to be charged will be made available through our Sales Managers or Zaabai Associates  during the Vendor registration and onboarding process -where our team will help you set-up and create your listings of services for you to start selling on our platform.

Listings and Bookings Management

How do I create a listing for my services?

Once you sign up as a vendor on Zaabai.com, creating a listing is simple. You’ll have access to a user-friendly dashboard where you can add details about your services, upload images, set prices, and manage your availability. If you need help, our team is available to guide you through the process or you can refer to our Vendor Listing Guide for step-by-step instructions.

Can I make changes to my service listings after they are published?

Yes, you can easily update or edit your service listings at any time through your vendor dashboard. You can adjust prices, availability, service descriptions, and other relevant details to keep your offerings up to date and competitive.

How do I receive payments for the services I provide?

Payments for your services will be processed securely through Stripe. Once a booking is completed, funds will be transferred directly to your bank account after a short processing period. You’ll be able to track all your earnings and payouts from the vendor dashboard.

How can I manage my bookings?

Zaabai provides a robust booking management system. Through your vendor dashboard, you can view, manage, and organize all your bookings in one place. You can also set your availability, confirm bookings, and communicate with customers directly if needed.

How can I manage bookings and resources for multiple outlets?

The Zaabai platform allows vendors to set up multiple locations that offer similar services under the same brand name. The platform also enables vendors to allocate resources to each location, with individual booking slots for each resource. Additionally, the business hours for different locations can be customized, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in managing multiple outlets.

Can Zaabai booking engines allow for multiple bookings per slot?

Yes, with Zaabai.com, our booking engines are designed to support multiple bookings per slot, allowing you to maximize the usage of your resources.

Does Zaabai allow group bookings? Can one person book on behalf of a group?

Yes, group bookings are supported on Zaabai.com platform/site and app, provided the number of group bookings does not exceed the availability of that slot. For convenience, one person can also make a group booking.

How long will it take to get set up and create a listing?

Creating and listing your services on Zaabai.com can be done quickly, typically in as fast as 15-30 minutes, depending on the details and complexity of the services you want to offer. Our platform is designed to be user-friendly, and if you need any assistance, our team is available to provide guidance. Additionally, you can check out more on our Marketplace Hub page in the footer of the Zaabai.com site for detailed instructions and tips on creating successful listings.

Can I as a Business Owner manage my team's access to my Vendor dashboard?

Yes, our Zaabai platform allows vendors to manage permissions for different team members. You can assign various access levels to different users of your account, ensuring that each team member has the appropriate access to the dashboard based on their role in your organization.

Can Vendor download daily, weekly, or monthly bookings to a local computer?

Yes, vendors can download their daily, weekly, or monthly booking reports directly to their local computers. This feature allows you to maintain a backup of your booking data in case of system disruptions or other technical issues, ensuring that your data is secure and accessible at all times.

Promotions, Cancellations, and Reviews

Can I offer discounts or promotions on my services?

Yes! You can create and manage discounts or special promotions through the vendor dashboard. Offering promotions is a great way to attract more customers and increase your visibility on the platform.

How does Zaabai handle cancellations and refunds?

The Zaabai platform has a system that allows Vendor to offer customisable cancellation and refund policy for each listing. Vendors can set their own cancellation terms (e.g., 24-hour notice) when listing services. Customers will be informed of these terms before booking. Refunds will automatically be processed by Stripe based on the vendor’s cancellation policy for each listing, ensuring a smooth and transparent experience for both vendors and customers.

Is there a review system for vendors?

Yes, Zaabai operates a review system where customers can leave feedback on their experience with your services. Positive reviews can help build your credibility and attract more customers, while constructive feedback can be used to improve your offerings.

What should I do if I receive a negative review?

We encourage vendors to respond professionally to all reviews, including negative ones. Addressing customer concerns and showing a willingness to improve can turn a negative situation into a positive outcome. If you believe a review violates our guidelines, you can report it to our support team for further investigation.

How do I cancel my Vendor account?

To cancel your Vendor account, you must submit a cancellation request. Once submitted, there is a mandatory 30-day cooling or suspension period during which you will not be allowed to accept any new bookings. During this time, you are required to fulfill all obligations to customers who have already booked but have not yet received their service. If you are unable to fulfill your obligations, you must refund the unused portions to the customers. After this period, your account will be fully closed. Marketing and Exposure

How does Zaabai help vendors with platform marketing and publicity?

In addition to our digital and social media marketing efforts, Zaabai focuses on generating publicity for vendors and the platform by creating stories about vendors, their services, and more. We aim to highlight the unique offerings of our vendors through blogs, media write-ups, and feature stories that attract attention to the services listed on our platform. This additional exposure helps build your brand and draws more potential customers to your business.

How can I promote my services on social media with direct links to my listings?

Zaabai makes it easy to promote your services on social media by via direct url links to your service listings. These links can be shared on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels, allowing your followers and potential customers to book your services instantly. Additionally, we provide easy options to copy and paste your listing content and embed it directly into your social media posts for greater visibility.

How do I get featured in Zaabai’s promotions or on the homepage?

We regularly feature vendors in our marketing campaigns, promotions, and on the homepage/destination pages. To increase your chances of being featured, we recommend keeping your listing active, maintaining positive customer reviews, and offering competitive prices or unique services. Our team may also reach out directly if we think your service aligns with a particular campaign.

Do Vendors get a virtual storefront for their business? What is displayed?

Yes, our powerful Zaabai.com platform will automatically create a virtual storefront for you as a partner-vendor. This comprises display of your business logo, the profile of your business, the option to display thumbnail images of each professional resource, and all your published vendor listings. You can freely share your Zaabai storefront web address to anyone.

Technical and Support

Can I integrate Zaabai.com with my existing booking system?

At the moment, Zaabai.com operates as a standalone marketplace, but we are exploring future integration options with third-party booking systems. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to expand platform capabilities.

Can I have booking links on my business website going to my Vendor listings on Zaabai.com?

Yes, Zaabai.com allows you to copy links or embed codes (iframes) that can be placed on your own website. This allows your customers to book your services directly from your site: which takes them to your Vendor listing on Zaabai.com where they can make a booking. It provides a seamless experience for your website visitors, giving them instant access to your listings for bookings to be made.

What kind of support can I expect as a vendor?

Our vendor support team of Associate Representatives and Account Managers are here to help you at every step. Whether you need assistance with setting up your profile, managing bookings, or handling payment issues, our support team will be  just an email or phone call away. How will Zaabai help me get started as a new vendor?

Zaabai is dedicated to making the onboarding process as smooth as possible. Our Associate Representatives and  Account Managers are available to help guide you through the initial setup and provide support. Does Bookablebiz provide marketing tools?

Currently, Bookablebiz only provides recommendations of useful marketing tools to help vendors enhance their listings and promote their services. We recommend platforms such as Canva for image generation and editing, ChatGPT for content creation (including writing compelling service descriptions), and HubSpot Free Marketing for email campaigns, customer relationship management, and other marketing efforts.
